The one-week enrichment session is designed to give the beginning, intermediate or advanced language learners an in-depth immersion experience. The length of this program allows French-at-Campers time to adapt to their new environment and take advantage of the activities in order to build from their language base. French-at-Campers participate in daily language sessions with others at the same level of proficiency. In addition to daily activities such as authentic French cooking, arts and crafts and sports, there will be an evening program every night: camp fire, French board games, singing, story telling.

Upon registration, we will send you a basic vocabulary list of words that will be learn and used during the camp activities. Once you will have reviewed it with your child, you will inform us through our internet based evaluation system of the words that he/she is already familiar with. This will contribute to better pinpoint his/her strenghts and weaknesses during activities.

Each French-at-Camper will spend at least one night out in a tent.

Computer plays a big part in the learning process: a daily evaluation of the progress of the child is made through a complete set of exercices related to the activities performed during the day. After the camp, your child will still be able to logon to the activity board on the internet and review exercices and games.
